The cricketing trends on social media today saw the cricketers from all over the world interact with their followers across platforms. Australia regained the Ashes in an emphatic fashion as they beat England by an innings and 41 runs at the WACA in Perth. Steve Smith’s double ton and Josh Hazlewood’s five-for, coupled with some spectacular teamwork helped the hosts defeat Joe Root’s side. And the internet just can’t get over the thumping win. From the current cricketers to former greats, everyone tweeted congratulatory messages to the new Ashes winners.
On the other side, Jhonty Rhodes is in awe of India all over again while former Indian cricketer Murali Kartik heaped praises on his ex-Middlesex mate Dawid Malan, who impressed one and all with his awesome stroke-play. Aakash Chopra was seen in some serious action, whereas Suresh Raina was at peace with his wife in Bangalore. Former England skipper Michael Vaughan isn’t done with his Ashes review yet while Mitchell Johnson admires the beauty.

Congrats Australia!! That’s why we are “obsessed” with pace – 3 blokes consistently bowling 145kph is the difference between the teams. When the ball isn’t swinging or seaming, the extra pace can still get good players out!!
