The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around a lot of events as the cricketers took to their official handles to express themselves. India cricketers Parthiv Patel announced his retirement from all forms of the game and the cricketing fraternity was busy praising him for his exceptional career.
The likes of Manoj Tiwary, Mohammad Kaif, Vinod Kambli and others took to Twitter to congratulate him for his brilliant cricketing career. After the conclusion of the three-match T20I series between India and Australia, ICC released the latest rankings in the format.
And Afghanistan cricketer Mirwais Ashraf was proud of his colleagues Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan who are bossing the rankings as the all-rounder and bowler. Meanwhile, Indian players also gained a lot in the rankings after winning the T20I series by 2-1 against Australia. Virat Kohli raised to the eighth position in the batting rankings while KL Rahul replaced Aaron Finch at the number three after a decent series.
