The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Harbhajan Singh posted a picture along with Jatin Sapru, Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag. Michael Vaughan was excited before England’s opening match against South Africa at the Kennington Oval in London on May 30. The warm-up match between New Zealand and the Windies took place at the County Ground in Bristol.

India’s first match is against South Africa on June 5 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. India and Bangladesh also faced off at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. KL Rahul, batting at number four, scored a masterful century.
Mohammad Kaif heaped praises on the Karnataka batsman. Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg feels that Rahul is India’s number four for the main round. Former Pakistan cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq celebrated his 45th birthday today and the cricketing fraternity wished him on the auspicious occasion.
Shadab Khan, who had played alongside Misbah for quite some time, wished the retired batsman. Mohammad Hafeez also wished him. Indian women’s cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues posted a picture at the Lord’s Cricket Ground also known as the home of cricket. Aakash Chopra wished MS Dhoni for scoring a century.
