The cricketing trends on social media today like every other day revolved around the Indian Premier League (IPL) which has set the stage on fire with thrilling matches. Aakash Chopra was excited about the game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to start as the teams faced off at the iconic Eden Gardens. Yuzvendra Chahal clicked a selfie while travelling to Pune for the next game of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against CSK.

Charlotte Edwards was thrilled after shooting with James Taylor for the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019 which will be held in England. ICC released the schedule of the tournament recently as the hosts will lock horns against South Africa in the first game of the showpiece event. Jonny Bairstow was delighted after joining Yorkshire for the ongoing County Championship season and will play the next game against Essex. He posted the video of getting ready for the action in the middle.

Stuart Broad was relaxing post-training session and was recovering ahead of the game against Hampshire and will play for Nottinghamshire in the County Championship. Saqlain Mushtaq wished Brian Lara a very happy birthday a bit late and hoped that he would stay blessed. Ross Taylor joined Hampshire for the County season and was excited to take the guard in the middle for his team. He was in great form in the ODI series against England and will be aiming to continue in the same vein.
