The cricketing trends on social media today saw the cricketers from all over the world interact with their followers across platforms. Whilst many prominent figures took time to wish the birthday boys and dashing batsmen Aaron Finch and Yusuf Pathan, the Women’s Ashes and the India-Sri Lanka encounter did manage to hog a lot of limelight.

The Australian women’s side managed to defeat their archrivals England thanks to a sensational inning from opener Beth Mooney.
