The cricketing trends on social media today saw the cricketers from all over the world interact with their followers across platforms. It was the birthday of Hardik Pandya, Amitabh Bachchan and Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar which took the centre stage across the feeds of prominent cricketers on social media. Brett Lee and fellow Mumbai Indian Sachin Tendulkar wished Hardik Pandya on his birthday while Bachchan was wished by Suresh Raina, Pragyan Ojha and many others.
David Warner was pumped at after the Australian win in the 2nd T20I at Barspara Stadium, Guwahati. Although, it was the situation after the match which became the talking point as the Australian team bus was pelted with stone, breaking the window pane. Ravichandran Ashwin urged one and all to be thoughtful and responsible before thinking of such activities while Rohit Sharma professed there’s more to sports than just winning and losing.
Tom Moody stressed the importance of swing bowling in T20 cricket while lauding newcomer Jason Behrendorff. Ishant Sharma congratulated Robin Uthappa and wife for the birth of their first child while Harbhajan Singh urged parents to keep their kids away from electronic gadgets, sharing a horrific video.
