While most tweets commended Pakistan’s win against Bangladesh in their opening match at the Wolrd T20, Cricketing trends focused it’s attention on the daily lives of cricketers around the world. David Willey and James Anderson began the banter for the day by shedding light on England’s first match of the World T20. Lisa Sthalekar took time off her commentary duties as she met India’s perhaps most powerful woman Kiran Mazumdar Shaw. Shoaib Akhtar called on the Pakistan side not to get complacent following the win while Simon Jones was completely taken aback with Mohammad Amir’s bowling prowess. Michale Vaughan congratulated his Pakistani compatriot Misbah-ul-Haq on Pakistan’s win while Alec Stewart named his picks for the tournament. That said, here are the best tweets of the day in our Cricketing trends.
