Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all around the globe. Most of the talks and the social media feeds of the day encircled around the CPL drafts that took place on the day. West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy, who recently led Peshawar Zalmi to the title win in the PSL, looked absolutely pleased with the St. Lucia picks in the CPL drafts.
English pacer Chris Tremlett was seen sweating out and he surely loved the bike ride. Anjum Chopra, the former Indian women’s team cricketer had a weather update on Delhi and she rightly noted that it is still pretty cold in the country capital. Meanwhile, Tom Moody congratulated Afghanistan players Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi for being picked in the CPL drafts.
Both Nabi and Rashid will also be playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Tom Moody is the coach of the franchise. Kevin Pietersen was out there for a social and environmental cause as he tried to support the campaign of stopping the rhino horn trade. Meanwhile, England registered a thumping 3-0 win over West Indies in the ODI series. The Player of the Tournament, Chris Woakes, rightly remarked that the Caribbean is a beautiful place to tour.
Indian offie Ravichandran Ashwin is making sure that he is using the rest days to relax and take a good break. Michael Clarke opted to spend time with children at the NGO CRY (Child Rights and You). That said here we have a look at some of the best tweets from today’s edition of cricketing trends:
