The cricketing trends in twitter today saw tweets coming in from all over the world. While Jonty Rhodes posted a picture of enjoying a beer after a days practise, former Ashes winning England skipper Michael Vaughan appeals for a life ban for cricketers involved in corruption.

The IPL is just a few days away and the players are getting ready for it. It’s going to be an amazing 10th season with some new faces coming up and some interesting buys by the franchises. Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes are ready to set the stage on fire in the Indian Premier League.

Mathew Hayden congratulated Aussie youngster Matt Renshaw for his good performance in India. On the other hand, India discard Subramaniam Badrinath congratulated the victorious Indian team for regaining The Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag who is very active on twitter reminded us about his tremendous innings of 319 against South Africa 9 years ago today.

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper was absolutely delighted by the performance of Cheteshwar Pujara and expressed his thoughts about the same on twitter.
