The IPL is just around the corner and franchises are looking to rope in as many sponsors as possible for the mega event. There is more to IPL than just cricket. Apart from strategizing on the field, owners have to strategize off the field as well to ensure a healthy financial outlook to the side. The broadcasting deal has already boosted their revenue and finding big sponsors will serve as icing on the cake.

The Daredevils have roped in DTDC as their official logistics partner. DTDC will deliver and oversee the entire back-end logistics operations for the Delhi franchise and in return, benefit from the brand visibility by the way of logo placed on the lead trouser of the team.

DTDC – Formerly logistics partners for Gujarat Lions

DTDC is a top logistic brand in India and will provide good support to the Daredevils family. “DTDC is looking forward to being a part of the Delhi Daredevils campaign as they look to end their silverware drought. The tournament is a celebration of the cricket-crazy spirit of Indians, and DTDC wanted to be a part of this celebration of the sport’s ultimate carnival. Furthermore, we aim to reach out to a wider customer base and strengthen our connection with the loyal fans of the team from the capital and its surrounding regions.” DTDC executive director Abhishek Chakraborty.

DTDC were the logistic partners for Gujarat Lions in the previous edition of the league. As the Lions are now defunct, DTDC chose to build ties with the Delhi Daredevils. With DTDC on board, the sponsors tally has reached 13 of which Jio, Air India, Coca-Cola, and JSW are the top partners.

The Daredevils will begin their campaign on the 8th of April against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali. The team will be led by Gautam Gambhir which includes big names like Glenn Maxwell, Chris Morris, and Shreyas Iyer.
