Delhi Daredevils goof up with wrong Sagarika in their congratulatory tweet for Zaheer Khan

The official social media handle of the Delhi Daredevils certainly had very sweet intentions when they congratulated their skipper Zaheer Khan on Twitter. The former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan made his relationship with Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge official on the social media earlier on the day. Over the last few months, the paparazzi had been wondering whether Sagarika and Zaheer are the new love birds in town.

Now, the news has been confirmed by the people who matter. Zaheer took to micro-blogging site Twitter to confirm his engagement to Sagarika. He shared a picture with her and the caption to the picture said it all for the fans.  He wrote, “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them!!! Partners for life.”

The wishes came in flooding from all corners for the new celebrity couple. While most of the people had their wishes served right, a few ended up goofing up their congratulatory messages. Zaheer’s IPL team Delhi Daredevils ended up goofing up big time when they tagged the wrong Sagarika in their post for Zaheer Khan. They ended up tagging the renowned journalist and broadcaster Sagarika Ghose.

In their tweet, Delhi Daredevils wrote, “Heartliest Congratulations to our #Dilliboy @ImZaheer & @sagarikaghose wishing this beautiful couple a spectacular life ahead!”

The Delhi camp was quick to realise the mistake that they had done. They quickly deleted the tweet but the tweet had already got viral on the social media. Earlier, team India head coach Anil Kumble also ended up doing the same mistake of tagging Sagarika Ghose in his tweet. He had tweeted, “Congratulations @ImZaheer and @sagarikaghose ! Wishing you the very best!”.

Well, amidst all this, the journalist Sagarika Ghose found humor and took to her social media account to clarify that she has not got married to Zaheer. She wrote that she is a mother of two already! She responded to the tweet by Delhi Daredevils. She wrote, “oops wrong Sagarika, sirs! Main do bachche ki ma hoon.”
