“I didn’t know [Dhoni] despite having studied sports, health and cricket in theory. So when they told me I’d be working with him, I was like, ‘oh, alright’. And then they flew me down; people were screaming his name everywhere and then I was like, ‘OH, ALRIGHT’ (laughs),” she said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Dhoni’s fitness still under the scrutiny

Dhoni played one of the finest knocks in his Indian Premier League (IPL) career a couple of nights ago in Mohali, spanking the Kings XI Punjab bowlers to all parts of the ground. Despite having a sore back, the 36-year-old added life to the one-sided game and almost took the Chennai Super Kings over the line.

Unfortunately for the fans and the management, the seriousness of the injury is still unconfirmed and his participation in the next game is doubtful. Dhoni and the CSK coach have confirmed that they’re trying to work hard on the “Bad back” to regain full fitness. Chennai is already struggling with injuries to some key players like Suresh Raina, Kedar Jadhav and Faf du Plessis and they’d be desperate to have their talismanic skipper back in full flow for the next game.
