The second day of the Dr. DY Patil T20 Cup 2017 saw the Indian Oil register their second consecutive win riding on Cheteshwar Pujara’s heroics. Pujara continued his good form from the last game where he scored a brilliant ton. The T20 tournament lived up to the expectations on the second day as well after being a massive hit on the tournament opening day.

Big stars were in action yet again as the crowd at the DY Patil Stadium was thrilled to bits. However, there was one man who missed the action on day 2 of the tournament. Air India’s Yuvraj Singh did not take the field and his side succumbed to their second defeat. Yuvraj had earlier scored a brisk 43 in the first game.

The reason for his ouster is still unknown. State Bank of Travancore, DY Patil (A) and Jain Irrigation were the other three teams securing wins on the day. Among the top performers, there were Adeeb Usmani, Faiz Fazal and Samarth Vyas with the bat, while Anant Tambekar and Sukhvinder Singh excelled with the ball.
