After battling it out in the inaugural final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand, the Indian team is currently on a break. The players are seen enjoying and having quality time with their families and teammates. Whilst all of these, the Indian pacer Shardul Thakur has posted a picture on Instagram where Ravindra Jadeja came up with a joyful comment.
Enjoying the break in the United Kingdom, Shardul took it to Instagram to post a picture of himself. He was seen wearing a checked sweatshirt and posing with a pleasant smile in the picture. He captioned the picture as “All about having a good time #london #england”. The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja thus couldn’t resist himself from leaving an amusing comment.

A few days back Shardul had posted a picture with the same sweatshirt on and thus Jadeja commented on Shardul’s post. “Ek hi sweatshirt hai kya tere pass? (Do you have just one sweatshirt?),” Well, even Shardul Thakur wasn’t behind the race as he came up with the reply on the comment and continued the banter. “Was clicked on the same day. Good, you commented I can start trolling you here on.” Shardul wrote.
The road ahead for Shardul Thakur
There were a lot of talks on the inclusion of Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj in the squad for the World Test Championship. Many experts thought that India lacked a decent pace all-rounder and that Shardul would have fit in that spot. During the WTC finals and even prior to that too the cricket on-lookers were all over tweeting about Shardul’s inclusion when the Indian pacers except for Shami weren’t able to reap major rewards.
Hardik Pandya is not bowling in Tests and in such a case, Thakur could be a good asset for the team. When India toured Down Under, Shardul bettered his abilities with the bat as well. He displayed his sheer flair while smashing an impressive 67 against one of the most lethal pace attacks of the World. Thus it would be an intriguing thing to look for so as to how India makes the most of Shardul Thakur in the near future.
