The dominant Indian team will take on England in a full series starting from third July, 2018. The much-awaited tour will have three T20Is, three ODIs and five Tests. The five-match Test series will start from August 1st. Visitors will be tested in England’s pacy conditions in the Test series.

It is a well known fact that the England team will always rely heavily on their pacers when it comes to red-ball cricket. Virat Kohli was at the receiving end when he last faced James Anderson and Stuart Broad in English conditions. The Indian skipper will be raring to make it big when he takes on the pace duo this time.

However, England has been hit by a fresh blow as their star pacer Stuart Broad injured his ankle during the county game between Nottinghamshire and Worcestershite at Trent Bridge. The English pacer was able to bowl only in the first session because of an ankle niggle. The 32-year-old has played 118 Tests and picked 417 wickets with a best of 8/15 against Australia.

Sam Billings and Sam Curran aren’t included in the squad, while Chris Woakes may be added later in the series if he can prove his fitness.
