England will play the only T20I against Australia at the Edgbaston, Birmingham on 27th June. They will take on Indian team starting from July 3 in the three-match T20I series in Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol. England is currently playing their arch-rivals Australia in the five-match ODI series. They have an unassailable lead of 4-0 and are aiming to whitewash the visitors.

The unstoppable British side is all set to get a short-term leader in Paul Fabrace, who will take charge of the T20I squad in the absence of their head coach Trevor Bayliss. Fabrace is currently working as the assistant coach the World No. 1 ODI side. He’s expected to be the head coach for England in the T20I series against Australia and India.

As per reports in Cricbuzz, head coach Trevor Bayliss will take a short break to have a look in the ongoing England Lions‘ tri-series against India A and Windies A. Later, he will also mark his presence at the one-day cup Final between Hampshire and Kent at the Lord’s Cricket Stadium on June 30. He will be back to assume his head coach role of England side on June 12 for the ODI series against India.

England is currently unstoppable in One Day Internationals. But, all is not well for the team in T20 Internationals. The won just five matches in their recent 13 outings in the shortest format of the game. They even failed to make it to the final of the tri-series against New Zealand and Australia in February 2018. With Australia trying new players in their limited-overs squads, this is the best time for England to win the lone T20I against Aussies. However, it would be a tough task for the hosts to defeat the dominant Indian team.

England T20I squad for Australia and India series:

Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, David Willey
