England ended their losing streak in ODIs at Southampton as they defeated Pakistan by 44 runs as per the D/L method in the first of the 5-match ODI series. After electing to bat, Pakistan got off to a good start and were looking set towards a strong finish. But they couldn’t end it on a high as they played a few silent overs towards the end of the inning and settled for a modest total of 260/6.
