England vs Australia, 4th ODI – Statistical Highlights: England came out with some top level efforts in the 4th ODI at Leeds to defeat the world champions Australia and level the 5-match ODI series at 2-2. Australia who batted first, put on a score of 299 with help of some good knocks from Bailey, Maxwell and Wade. Later, it was chased down by England as their captain Morgan led the chase with a brilliant 92-run knock. Here we look at all the possible stats recorded during the course of the game.

10 – Glenn Maxwell became only the 10th player to be on losing side after scoring at least 80 runs, take a catches and pick up a wicket by bowling 10 overs in the same ODI game.

2002 – Last time when 2 England spinners bowled 10 overs each in consecutive ODI matches was way back in 2002.

94 – Sixes hit by Eoin Morgan for England in ODI Cricket. Morgan now overhauled Andrew Flintoff’s record of most sixes for England in ODIs. In his overall ODI career, Morgan has struck 112 sixes with 18 of them coming for Ireland.

164 – Runs scored by Matthew Wade in this series. These are already the most runs scored in a 5-match ODI series by an Australian batsman batting at no.7 or below.

192.3 – Strike rate of Matthew Wade during his innings of 50 off 26 balls. This is jointly the highest strike rate managed in an innings for any visiting wicket keeper batsman in England with minimum of 50 runs scored. MS Dhoni was the other player and interestingly, he also scored 50 off 26 balls and remained unbeaten just like Wade.
