Famous Pakistan fan Amanullah Jan Wazir passes away

Pakistani fans mourn the demise of this dedicated supporter of the team.

Right through the period of some of the legendary cricketers like Saeed Anwar, Zaheer Abbas, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Pakistan have been through many ups and downs and never been able to have a stable side. In their period of joy and sorrows, one thing which remained constant throughout was the support from fans.

One of the famous faces is Chacha Chicago who much like India’s Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary makes sure to travel where ever Pakistan plays. He has been one of the constant supporters for Pakistan and known by ‘Chacha’. Recently he made a big statement saying, India are miles ahead of Pakistan now and Indo-Pak contest isn’t what it used to be.

Amanullah Jan Wazir passes away

Amanullah Jan Wazir, who originally hailed from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) was a famous supporter of Pakistan’s team at UAE (United Arab Emirates) passed away on Friday (9th June). Jan Wazir was supposed to be one of the biggest fans who used to watch every single match played at Pakistan’s adopted home, UAE. He used to rule the rooster with his whirling dance in the UAE.

As the sad news hit the ears of his loved ones, they took social media the medium to express their sorrows.

A user by the name Mr Pakistan posted- “Sad news about this chacha passing away. Amanullah Jan Wazir was ever present in UAE. May Allah grant him a place in Jannat. Ameen”

Another Pakistan fan IHsan Ul Haq wrote- Die hard fan of Pakistan Cricket Team  Amanullah Jan Wazir passes away #RIP

Dr Zalmi expressed his condolence stating- “A big fan of Pakistan cricket Amanullah Jan wazir is no more with us
May Allah gave him high rank in jannah
#PAKvSA”

Another fan asked people to pray for him- “Please recite #SurahFatiha for Super fan of PakistanCricket Team #AmanUllahJanWazir who passed away yesterday #RIP”
