Afghanistan delivered an impressive performance in their previous match against South Africa. Chasing a competitive target of 187, they managed to level the scores and force the game into a Super-Over. However, South Africa held their nerve and secured victory in the second Super Over. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the standout performer with the bat, producing a brilliant knock of 84 runs off 42 deliveries and also performed well in the second Super-Over. In the bowling department, Azmatullah Omarzai claimed three important wickets.
