Manish Pandey also played another captain’s knock and saved his team. The Tigers won the match by five wickets.

Mysuru Warriors had squared off against Shivamogga Lions in their last encounter, where the Shivamogga Lions won the toss, and they elected to field. The Warriors lost a wicket early but had a fantastic second-wicket partnership to put them back on track. They posted a strong total of 190 runs on the board due to some good knocks. The Lions started well and maintained the required run rate, but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, which pushed them back. Eventually, they fell short of the target by 12 runs and lost the match.
