Bhimavaram Bulls (BVB) will face the Royals of Rayalaseema (ROR) in the fifth match of the Andhra Premier League 2025 on Sunday, August 10, at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The Bulls will play their first game of the season. Royals of Rayalaseema are in sixth place after losing their first game.

Royals of Rayalaseema faced the Vijayawada Sunshiners in their first game, where the Sunshiners won the toss and elected to bowl. Pyla Avinash scored 96 runs off 39 deliveries for the Royals of Rayalaseema and was the highest scorer.  Girinath Reddy remained unbeaten on 49 runs off 23 deliveries. They helped the team post a total of 196 runs for the loss of seven wickets. The Sunshiners reached the target of 197 runs in 16.5 overs with seven wickets in hand. Jagarlapudi Ram was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 47 runs in 3.5 overs.

The Bulls represent the city of Bhimavaram in the tournament. Nitish Kumar Reddy has been appointed the captain of the side. Reddy last played four matches during the 2022 edition of the tournament. He made 77 runs in these four games at a strike rate of 132.07. He also took two wickets at an economy of 7.72. Nitish has played seven Tests and four T20I games for India since making his debut last year.
