Durban Super Giants (DSG) will take on Joburg Super Kings (JSK) in the 7th match of SA20 2024 on Monday (January 15) at the Kingsmead in Durban. Super Giants are in first place with two wins in two matches. Super Kings have lost one game, while one of their matches ended in a no result.

Super Giants faced Sunrisers Eastern Cape in their last match, where Super Giants won the toss and elected to bat. JJ Smuts and Nicholas Pooran scored a half-century each for the Super Giants. Super Giants posted a total of 225 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Daniel Worrall took two wickets for 35 runs in four overs. Tom Abell and Tristan Stubbs scored a half-century each for the Sunrisers. They could only post a total of 190 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 35 runs. Smuts won the Player of the Match award.

Super Kings faced MI Cape Town in their last outing and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton gave MI a great start and added 200 runs for the first wicket. MI posted a total of 243 runs for the loss of five wickets at the end of the 20th over mark. Nandre Burger was the most successful bowler for Super Kings and took two wickets for 53 runs. Super Kings were bundled out for just 145 runs and lost the match 98 runs.
