England Champions (EDC) will face the West Indies Champions (WIC) in the fifth match of the World Championship of Legends 2025 on Tuesday, July 22, at the County Ground in Northampton. It will be the first game of the season at this venue.

England’s first match was against Pakistan Champions, and their second game against Australia ended in a no result due to rain. In the first match, Pakistan scored 160 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Chris Tremlett and Liam Plunkett took two wickets each for England. England finished with 155 runs for the loss of three wickets and lost the match by five runs. Phil Mustard and Ian Bell scored a half-century each for England.

The West Indies took on the South Africa Champions in the first game and scored 79 runs for the loss of five wickets in 11 overs. The match was reduced to 11 overs, and South Africa got a target of 81 runs. South Africa scored 80 runs for the loss of six wickets, and the match ended in a draw. The result of the game was decided through a bowl-out, and South Africa won the same.
