The Capitals’ last game against Gujarat Giants was abandoned. They defeated Southern Super Stars in the second-last game by seven wickets. The Super Stars posted 163 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Chaturanga de Silva scored 56 runs off 34 deliveries, including five sixes and two boundaries. Ricardo Powell scored 100 runs off 57 deliveries and helped the Capitals win by seven wickets.

The Tigers suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of the Southern Super Stars in their last game. The Tigers elected to bat after winning the toss and could manage only 124 runs. Angelo Perera remained unbeaten on 47 runs off 34 deliveries. Jesse Ryder and Upul Tharanga made 30 runs each and helped the Super Stars cross the line with two deliveries and five wickets remaining.
