India (IND) will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday, September 10, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India and the UAE have faced each other only once in T20Is, and it happened during the 2016 edition of the Asia Cup. India won the match by nine wickets after chasing down the target of 82 runs in 10.1 overs.

Team India is currently the number one-ranked team in ICC rankings. India is the most successful team in the Asia Cup and has won the title on eight occasions. India has played just five T20I games this year and has won four of them.

The United Arab Emirates are hosting this year’s Asia Cup. They first played in the tournament in 2004 and later appeared in 2008 and 2016. Placed in Group A with India, Pakistan, and Oman, the UAE will be aiming for their first-ever win in the competition. Earlier this year, they beat Bangladesh in a three-match series and finished second in the Pearl of Africa T20I Series in July. However, in their recent tri-series against Afghanistan and Pakistan, they lost all four games.
