Italy lost a wicket early but otherwise were going ahead well, and it looked like they were going to chase down the total, but their middle order choked as they could not score much and lost the match by six runs.

Denmark had played off against Jersey in their last encounter, where Denmark won the toss and elected to bowl. Jersey batters had a fantastic day on the field as they smashed bowlers all around the park. The top order scored the majority of the runs while the middle order failed, but still, they had 159 runs in the bank to defend. Denmark did not start well and lost both their openers cheaply. The third-wicket partnership brought them back into the game, but once they were gone, the match was also gone. Denmark lost the match by 28 runs.
