Urbanrisers Hyderabad will take on Manipal Tigers in the final of the Legends League Cricket 2023 on Saturday (December 9) at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. Urbanrisers finished in second place with three wins in five matches. Tigers also won three matches out of five and were in first place at the end of the league stage.

Urbanrisers defeated the Tigers in the first qualifier match by 75 runs after posting a total of 253 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Dwayne Smith scored 120 runs off 53 deliveries and played a crucial role. In reply, the Tigers were bundled out for 178 runs. Angelo Perera played a blistering knock of 73 runs off 30 deliveries, including seven boundaries and five sixes.

Tigers won the second qualifier match against India Capitals after chasing down the target of 178 runs in 18.4 overs with six wickets in hand. Mitchell McClenaghan took three wickets for 28 runs in four overs and was adjudged Player of the Match. Asela Gunaratne scored 39 runs off 25 deliveries and was the highest scorer.
