The Warriors struggled at the start, losing two wickets just at the score of four runs, and looked in trouble, but then their middle order took responsibility. With a significant contribution from Rocky Dianish, they posted a good total of 79 runs on the board. Mater Dei started well upfront, but as soon as they lost their first wicket, the dominos effect came into play, and they could only score 69 runs. They lost the match by 10 runs.

Overseas CC squared off against Mater Dei in their last encounter, where Mater Dei won the toss and elected to bat. They had a fantastic on the field that day as everything they did proved to be correct. They made a brilliant start and kept on scoring at a rapid pace. The batters enjoyed their stay on the crease as they pushed the team to a brilliant total of 135 runs. Overseas CC did not start well and never really could get going with the run rate they were scoring with. By the end of the innings, they could only score 73 runs and lost the match by 62 runs.
