Namibia will lock horns with the Netherlands in the third match of the Nepal T20I tri-series at Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Thursday, February 29.

Namibia, under the leadership of Jonathan Smit, started off their campaign with a 20-run win over Nepal in the series opener. Namibia posted a total of 206/4 in 20 overs, thanks to Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton (101) and Malan Kruger (59*).

In response, Nepal got bundled out for only 186 runs in 18.5 overs. Rohit Paudel (42) and Dipendra Singh Airee (48) tried their best to take their side over the line. However, other batters faltered badly. Ruben Trumpelmann scalped a four-fer for Namibia to turn the tables towards his side.

On the other hand, the Netherlands also started the series on a winning note over Nepal by two runs in a thrilling game. Batting first, the Netherlands posted a dominating total of 184/4 in 20 overs. Michael Levitt (54), Sybrand Engelbrecht (49), Scott Edwards (33), and Teja Nidamanuru (31*) were the standout batters.

In reply, Nepal could rack up only 182/8 in 20 overs. Rohit Paudel (50), and Dipendra Singh Airee (63) shined once again for their side but others couldn't provide substantial support. Roelof van der Merwe and Sybrand Engelbrecht claimed two wickets apiece.
