Northern Women will be up against Southern Women in the 1st match of the Zimbabwe Women T20 2023 at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on October 12. This tournament is Zimbabwe Cricket's league created in response to the global popularity of T20 Leagues around the world.

The two competing teams in the three T20 matches are Northern Women and Southern Women. After three games, the winning side will be the one with the most victories. For aspiring cricketers, this competition offers a fantastic opportunity to practice with the nation's top players, improve their game, and eventually make it to the national team.

The men's T20 competition, which features a total of seven teams, is also being hosted concurrently by Zimbabwe Cricket. The players to keep an eye on in this three-match campaign are Nomvelo Sibanda and all-arounder Kellies Ndhlovu. In the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier, 2022, Ndhlovu took the most wickets with 11, while Sibanda took eight. Chipo Mugeri and Mary Musonda can be two batters to look out for in this tournament due to the experience they hold.
