New Zealand (NZ) will be up against Australia (AUS) in the 2nd T20I of the Australia tour of New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland on February 23. Australia won the last game in a last-ball thriller as they lead the three-match series 1-0. The next game is expected to be a close match and a thriller between the two sides as well.

The last game was held at the Sky Stadium in Wellington, where New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat. With Finn Allen and Devon Conway in a brilliant touch, the Kiwis started amazingly well with the opening stand lasting for 61 runs in just 5.2 overs. Rachin Ravindra came to bat at three and made the most out of it as he joined hands with Conway to amass 113 runs for the second wicket. Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman provided the finish they needed to put up a total of 215 runs on the board.

Australia needed to start well as they had such a huge target ahead of them. Head, who was looking good, was lost at the score of 29 but then came the skipper Mitchell Marsh who led the way from the front with his performance. He played a brilliant knock of 72 and remained unbeaten. He was aided well by Maxwell who was looking dangerous but Ferguson’s raw pace took him by storm. In the end, it was Tim David who provided the much-needed finish for them as he smashed 31 off just 10 deliveries. Four runs were needed from the last ball when he smashed a boundary to clinch a thriller for his side by six wickets.

Devon Conway NZ | BAT

Conway is another batter who had a sensational match and can be made captain of your side. He scored 63 runs off 46 balls at a strike rate of 136.96

8.5

Mitchell Starc AUS | BOWL

Where all the bowlers were being smashed all around the park for boundaries, Starc remained a bowler with a good figure. Although he took just one wicket but spent only 21 runs for the same.

9

Glenn Maxwell AUS | ALL

Maxwell was looking really dangerous before he was dismissed by the raw pace of Ferguson. He had smashed 25 off just 11 balls which included two boundaries and sixes each.

9

David Warner AUS | BAT

Warner, a veteran of the format who has amassed tons of runs all around the world. He had a decent match scoring 32 runs from 20 balls and had a strike rate of 160.

7

In a rare event, Santner was smashed for runs and was quite expensive in the match. He was smashed for 42 runs in his four overs but scalped two wickets as well for it.

Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team

9

Josh Inglis

AUS | WK

Inglis could only score 20 runs off 20 balls in the last game where everyone else was scoring heavily. He can be avoided from your team.

9

Adam Zampa

AUS | BOWL

Zampa was smashed for runs heavily without scalping any wickets. He too should be avoided from your fantasy team.
