Pakistan Champions (PAK C) will take on South Africa Champions (SA C) in the final of the World Championship of Legends 2025 on Saturday, August 2, at Edgbaston in Birmingham. Pakistan won four out of five games in the league stage and finished in first place in the points table. South Africa was in second position and won four out of five games as well. Pakistan’s semi-final game against India Champions was called off, and the team directly qualified for the final.

South Africa faced Australia Champions in the semi-final game and elected to bat after winning the toss. JJ Smuts and Morne van Wyk scored a half-century each and helped the team post a total of 186 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. No other batter managed to cross the 20-run mark. Australia almost reached the target but failed to win the game as they finished with 185 runs for the loss of seven wickets and lost the match by one run. Hardus Viljoen and Wayne Parnell took two wickets each. Parnell defended 14 runs in the last over and won the Player of the Match award.
