The New Zealand (NZ) tour of Pakistan (PAK) will start with the first T20I of the five-match series on Friday (April 14) at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan are coming into this series after suffering a loss in their last T20I series at the hands of Afghanistan. It was Afghanistan’s first series win against Pakistan. Afghanistan won the first two matches of the three-match series to earn an unassailable lead. This series will see the return of senior Pakistani players, including skipper Babar Azam.

New Zealand won their last T20I series against Sri Lanka by a margin of 2-1. Pakistan faced New Zealand and Bangladesh in a tri-series.
