Peshawar Zalmi (PES) will take on Quetta Gladiators (QUE) in the second match of the PSL 2025. This match will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. 34 matches will be played throughout the tournament, including the Final. The tournament will be played in a double round-robin format, with each team facing the other teams twice during the league stages.

The teams that finish in the top 2 after the league stages will automatically play the Qualifier Match. The third and fourth-placed teams will play against each other in the Eliminator. The loser of Qualifier and the winner of Eliminator will then play against each other in Eliminator 2. The winner of this game will go on to play the winner of the Qualifier Match in the Final. 

Peshawar Zalmi will be led by Babar Azam and they remain the only side never to miss out on the playoffs in the history of PSL showing their consistency. On the other hand, Saud Shakeel will lead Quetta Gladiators for this season. This should be a closely fought game between these two sides.
