Though skipper Mark Deyal departed early, the second wicket partnership helped the team reach 73 runs inside five overs, which was an incredible display of power striking. Akiel Cooper joined in the end to assault the bowlers by scoring 48 in just 20 balls. Earlier, Shatrughan Rambaran reached 48 in 23 balls. When defending the huge score of 149, the bowlers picked wickets in regular intervals to ensure the run rate won't get above the required rate. Three bowlers picked up one wicket apiece, and Mark Deyal picked up a couple of wickets to win the game by a huge margin of 51 runs.
