The Lions faced Mangalore Dragons in their last match and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Dragons made 179 runs for the loss of eight wickets. V Koushik was the pick of the bowlers for the Lions and took three wickets for 23 runs in four overs. Despite some strong individual performances, Shivamogga Lions were unable to reach the target and finished on 150 runs for the loss of eight wickets. The Lions won the match by 29 runs. Rohit Kumar K was the highest scorer for the team and made 62 runs off 51 deliveries.

The Blasters faced the Gulbarga Mystics in their previous outing and elected to bowl. The Mystics were bundled out for 112 runs in 19.5 overs. Mohsin Khan, Vidyadhar Patil, Shubhang Hegde, and Rohan Naveen took two wickets each. The Blasters reached the target of 113 runs in 14.2 overs with five wickets in hand. LR Chethan remained unbeaten on 75 runs off 48 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award.
