Phoenix had an aggressive start, although they had lost three wickets by the time they had scored 44 runs. Jamie Smith led the carnage as he smashed 60 runs off just 33 balls, and they scored 160 runs in the first innings. Invincibles returned to chase the total but were slow and sloppy. They kept losing wickets regularly and were bowled out for 119. Birmingham Phoenix won the match by 41 runs.
