West Indies (WI) will take on Pakistan (PAK) in the third ODI of the series on Tuesday, August 12, at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad. Pakistan won the first ODI by five wickets after chasing down the target of 281 runs in 48.5 overs. Hasan Nawaz played an unbeaten knock of 63 runs off 54 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award.

In the second ODI, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl. Hussain Talat (31 off 32) and Hasan Nawaz (36 off 30) helped Pakistan post a total of 171 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 37 overs. Pakistan’s innings was cut short due to rain. Jayden Seales was the pick of the bowlers for the West Indies and took three wickets for 23 runs in seven overs.

West Indies got a target of 181 runs to be chased in 35 overs. The West Indies lost the first two wickets for 12 runs. However, the middle order responded with a decent fight. Shai Hope scored 32 runs off 35 deliveries, and Sherfane Rutherford made 45 runs off 33 deliveries. Roston Chase remained unbeaten on 49 runs off 47 deliveries. The West Indies took 33.2 overs to reach the target of 182 runs and won the match by five wickets. Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz picked two wickets each for Pakistan. Chase won the Player of the Match award.
