Fed up with career ending threats, Rahul Sharma posts a message on Twitter

Indian cricketer Rahul Sharma recently vented out his frustration on the social media site Twitter. In the recent times, Rahul has failed to be a part of the national set up. His previous appearance for the Indian team came almost half a decade ago. The Punjab leg spinner has represented the Indian team in both the shorter formats of the game.

Interestingly, the most recent social media update of Rahul Sharma expresses his unhappiness over the fact that he has been receiving threats. He revealed that he has been receiving career-ending threats from some unknown individuals. The recent reports in Dainik Jagran suggest that Rahul refrained from revealing any details about the entire episode.

The tabloid claimed to have contacted the player but he chose to keep mum on the scene for now. However, by posting a tweet about the same, he has clearly sent out a message to the blackmailers indicating that he is not going to refrain from disclosing the matter to the officials if such threats continue to come his way.

In his tweet, Rahul remarked, “I do not know what has happened to the people. They are ready to stoop down to any levels for money. They have compromised on the personal life of an individual. Someone is blackmailing me with career and life threats by uploading a video on the media. Please god save me from such people.”

It remains to be ascertained as what the video is all about which is being discussed. Talking about Rahul’s international stint, he had made his ODI debut back in 2011 at Indore against West Indies. It was the same match in which Virender Sehwag had hit his ODI double ton. He made his T20I debut against Australia in 2012 down under.
