In two games, Afridi batted in just one game but unfortunately, he got out for a duck. In the second encounter against the same team, Owais Shah and Jacque Kallis were too good and were able to hammer the ball all around the ground which eventually meant he just watched from the hut. While bowling, Afridi was considerably good, comprehending the conditions they played in and went on to pick a wicket. He sent the reliable Mahela Jayawardene back to the pavilion for a mere score of seven.
