Former Indian cricketer, S Sreesanth always finds himself in the midst of some or the other controversy. The fast bowler is currently a part of the Hindi reality show, Bigg Boss 12 which is hosted by Salman Khan. In the show, he made some comments about the Indian women’s cricket team being weak which left everyone perplexed.

Former Bigg Boss contestant, Vikas Gupta, who is known to voice out his opinions openly didn’t seem to be impressed with these derogatory comments. The television show producer and host Vikas slammed Sreesanth on Twitter for these comments. He said that he was very disappointed with the cricketer’s words.

Sreesanth even stuns host Salman Khan

During the recent ‘Weekend ka Vaar’ episode, Salman tried to explain Sreesanth that both men and women are equal. The Bollywood superstar added that the rules are the same for everyone. He cited an example by asking Sree if he would change this game and approach when he plays a match against the women cricket team.

To this, the 35-year-old said that he will reduce his pace as the women won’t be able to face him. This left everyone including the host stunned. The ‘Race 3’ hero put a close to the topic by telling that women should be respected and shouldn’t be treated as weak. Post this incident, Vikas put up a tweet lashing out at the fast-bowler. He said that women won the titles in five out of the eleven seasons thus far. Vikas also cited the example of Hina Khan who played the tasks with great valour and determination.

“Very Dissapointed with @sreesanth36 for underestimating Women in the Indian cricket team and the big boss house. Make him watch @eyehinakhan doing the tasks he wouldn’t take women lightly ever 5 out of 11 seasons have been won by women including ours @ShindeShilpaS #BigBoss12,” Vikas wrote in his tweet.
