Former Tasmanian cricketer Aiden Blizzard and his wife Jessica have put their ultra-luxurious three-level home in Melbourne for sale. It has been reported that the couple has set a price tag of $920,000 to $980,000 for their Gamon Street property. It was modified and done with all the luxuries with the assistance of Bec and George Douros from The Block season 2013.

The former Tasmanian cricketer played for Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania and got famous for hitting belters in the T20 format. He bid adieu to professional cricket in the year 2018. The cricketer’s wife opened up on how they bought the property when it was actually not in a good form but they worked a lot of it. Bizzard and his wife got their hands on the lavish property in 2015 for $635,000. However, they moved into their ‘New York style’ home only after the cricketer retired in 2018.

“The walls were yellow, the carpet was stained, it had the old-school fold-up curtains and a laminate kitchen. It was really daggy and crying out to be updated. But we saw the spiral staircase and we were really drawn to the natural light and space and thought how amazing it could be,” said cricketer’s wife Jessica as quoted by dailymail.co.uk.

Talking about the home, it is equipped with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, high roofs, a modern kitchen, a spiral staircase, two parking spaces, and two balconies that offer a view of the city side. Their Seddon home is situated in the Bellerive Theatre Complex which is said to be an affordable residential area as per Compton Green real estate agent Steele Sexton.

“A lot of first-home buyers and young families are getting priced out of the more traditional period homes,” Mr. Sexton added.

Aiden and his wife are now willing to move to the countryside to raise a family. The cricketer played the game for three states and recorded his best figures in T20 matches as he went on to win five Big Bash League titles.
