India’s swashbuckling all-rounder Hardik Pandya finally reunited with his son Agastya Pandya after a long span of four months. Hardik and his wife Natasa Stankovic were blessed with the baby boy on July 31, 2020. However, the all-rounder parted ways with his little one in August 2020 as he joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp for taking part in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).

As the Indian league was hosted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) amid a biosecure bubble, there was no scope of Hardik flying to India to spend some quality time with his son. Though MI had allowed the cricketers to travel with their wives and children for the two-month long outing, Natasa and Agastya didn’t accompany him to UAE.

Following the conclusion of IPL, Hardik boarded the flight to Sydney with the Indian contingent as India resumed the international duties with a three-match ODI series against Australia followed by as many T20 Internationals. India played their last white-ball game against Australia on December 8 and Hardik finally reached home on Saturday as he is not a part of the Test squad and will not be seen in action in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy between the two sides.

Pandya was ecstatic to spend time with his 4-month-old son Agastya after four months as he shared a glimpse of the same on his official Twitter handle. Hardik has successfully donned the daddy hat for his little one as in the picture he can be seen feeding milk to his son. The all-rounder captioned the picture as, “From national duty to father duty.”

Hardik’s better-half Natasa Stankovic also shared an adorable video of Pandya spending some quality time with Agastya. In the clip, Hardik can be seen animatedly talking with his son.

The stocky all-rounder was in a red-hot form with willow during the white-ball series against Australia. As Hardik isn’t bowling due to his back surgery, he was included in the ODI and T20I squad as a specialist Number 6 batsman and he completely justified his inclusion in the team. In three One-day games, Pandya scored 210 runs and emerged as the highest run-getter for Men in Blue. However, his efforts went in vain as India lost the series by 1-2.

Hardik continued his dominance with the willow in the shortest format too as he bagged the Player of the Series award while India clinched the T20I series by 2-1.
