Gautam Gambhir acknowledges the efforts of RBL Bank catering to Army children

At 36, it would seem as though southpaw Gautam Gambhir has little chance of making a comeback to the Indian cricket team. His age coupled with his recent performances for the Delhi Daredevils and the barren run of form has made it quite clear that his domestic career is indeed one he would be needing to focus on. However, despite this, he is one of the most influential people in the country, especially given his support for the Indian Army.

Several tweets have come their way from Gambhir’s Twitter handle, especially those involving a significant amount of patriotism. This has made his one of the most sought-after people in the sphere with several CSR funs looking at him for certain collaborations.

However, in spite of all this, it would seem as though Gambhir is one of the most genuine cricketers in recent times, given the fact that he is able to appeal to the masses in terms of patriotism and several other Indian welfare issues. The most recent of those witnesses the former Indian batsman signing a partnership with Shanta Vallury of RBL Bank in a CSR initiative to improve the lives of the martyr’s children.

The program is also expected to work on something for adolescent girls, something that several NGOs in the country are aiming to achieve today.
