Edmonton Royals is the only team, who is yet to win a match in the 2019 Global T20 Canada. Faf du Plessis and Co had a golden chance versus the Toronto Nationals but ended up losing the game by a couple of wickets owing to a late blitz from Manpreet Gony. Their next match is against the Montreal Tigers, who aren’t in great shape either since their 24-run victory over Winnipeg Hawks.

The Brampton Wolves decimated them by 10 wickets, chasing down 102 in 6.4 overs. The Tigers’ bowling went through a nightmare as the Vancouver Knights plundered 276 runs courtesy of Chris Gayle’s blistering 54-ball 122 supported by half-centuries from Tobias Visee and Rassie van der Dussen. The pitch in Ontario is an absolute belter and the Tigers’ bowlers can be in for more misery.

Pitch Report:

The track at the venue has gotten better for batting as the T20 league has progressed. There is absolutely nothing for the bowlers. Scores of 180 plus have become a walk in the park and even scores of above 200 don’t look safe by any stretch of the imagination.
