Harbhajan Singh all set to welcome second baby with Geeta Basra in July 2021

Ace spinner of India Harbhajan Singh and his wife and actress Geeta Basra are all set to welcome their second baby in the month of July. Geeta carried forward the legacy of actors marrying cricketers and tied the knot with spin king in October 2015. After their marriage, the duo was blessed with a baby girl in 2016 in London. She was named as Hinaya Heer Plaha.

While talking about the second pregnancy, Geeta took to her Instagram handle and posted a family picture. She captioned her cute post as ‘coming soon.. July 2021.’ In the picture, the three of them, Geeta, Harbhajan and Hinaya, are seen donning the light blue colour. Singh held the dapper look with denim shirt while Geeta and her little daughter were seen acing the little blue dress and the little one held the t-shirt stating – “soon to be big sister.”

Harbhajan Singh to be next seen in IPL 2021

Singh last played for India back in 2016 in T20Is and is all set to be seen in upcoming edition of IPL with KKR. He pulled back from the last edition of IPL owing to personal reasons while he was part of the CSK contingent. In IPL 2021, he has been roped in by the Kolkata franchise as they will be keen to use his experience. His wife has been seen at the game venues cheering for cricketer several times and doesn’t like the idea of spouses being mocked for player’s dismal show on the field.

“People who’re die hard fans of the sport, they need some kind of excuse, or scapegoat. For them, wives and girlfriends are easy targets. They target them and say it happened because of them, they’re a bad omen, but don’t say anything when someone does perform well.

“It’s easy to be more negative than it’s to be positive. People find it easy to go into the negative zone and demolish someone, throw remarks at someone, blame and curse someone, than praise them. They say ‘Because of her, he performed bad’. Us wives are not going and playing for them, neither are we a part of the team or training them. It’s jut easy to make wives the soft targets,” said Geeta in an interview with HT.
