Harbhajan Singh clears himself of accusations regarding the Amrapali fraud

Tensions seem to grow regarding Amrapali’s ‘Sapphire’ Project in Noida as Harbhajan Singh faced a series of questions on Twitter from the disappointed fans. Amrapali had promised to present a flat to each member of India’s 2011 World Cup-winning team and Harbhajan was very much a part of the squad. After the Twitter outrage by the fans following the incident, the ‘Turbanator’ was subjected to questions on the social media platform.

The first phase of project ‘Sapphire’ at Noida Sector 45, which was launched in 2009, has been completed and about 800 families have moved in out of 1,000 flats. But the residents have complained that the civil and electrical work in many flats have been left incomplete.

A Twitter user wrote to the iconic off-spinner expressing his disappointment over the incident. He mentioned that the cricketers involved have been fetched with proper villas but it’s the common people who are suffering. Harbhajan was quick to come up with a reply to his accusation. The Jalandhar born bowler revealed that no cricketer has received their flats and asked the user to mention the source of the wrong information. He also said that everyone has been cheated using the name of the cricketers.

“Bhai tujhe kisne bola hamme villas mil Gaye hai?thenga Mila hamme.Bawakoof banaya gaya.Hamare naam ko use karke public k paise mare Gaye hai” replied Harbhajan.

Another user on Twitter asked the successful bowler not to lie. The reason behind the statement was that the Amrapali Group President happens to be a very good friend of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Harbhajan Singh cleared it out that he might be a friend of Dhoni’s but not his. he also asked the user not to ask these type of stupid questions to him and use his brains if he has a little bit of gray matter.

“He could be his friend but not mine.. so you better ask him not me.. use ur brain if u have thoda sa bi” replied Harbhajan.
