Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is currently out of the Indian team, recently made a statement that didn’t impress his followers and cricket fans. The Punjab cricketer tweeted that his and Anil Kumble’s Test wicket count would have been very different if they had got the opportunity to bowl on the type of wickets which are laid out these days.
He wrote: “Only 2 in my 103 tests… Kumble and my test wicket count would have been something else if we got wickets like last 4 years we playing on.”
He was replying to a random user who made comments on his previous post which he wrote before the start of the 3rd test. He felt that the pitch at the Holkar Stadium, Indore already looked like a two-day old pitch and predicted that the game would not go on for more than two days.
He wrote: “Already looks like 2 days old pitch before the 1st bowl is bowled..my predictions match won’t go more than 3 and half days…”

The user sort of mocked him saying that he didn’t had any complains about pitches in the past and also gave a couple of examples.

Others also jumped in the debate and tried trolling his by posting various memes. A few said that it was a case of sour grapes and he should grow up while some asked him to focus on the present that thinking about his past.
Talking about the ongoing 3rd Test, India has continued to maintain a strong grip on New Zealand riding on the Ravichandran Ashwin’s 20th five wicket haul. The off-spinner took 6/81 to wrap up New Zealand for just 299 giving India a strong 276 run lead in the match.
