Harbhajan Singh’s Passion and Humility Act as a source of Inspiration to his Girlfriend, Geeta Basra: Harbhajan Singh the prolific Indian off-spinner has been recalled to the Indian Squad after a span of over two years and the off-spinner did reasonably well for India in his comeback test. Also, it is to be noted that by taking 3 wickets in the test, Harbhajan became the 9^th highest wicket taker in test cricket with 415 wickets at the moment, surpassing the left handed legendary pacer, Wasim Akram who has got 413 under his belt.

He has made a comeback but the path for the same was not easy and he had to overcome a number of setbacks for his return. Even his girlfriend, Geeta Basra admires his dedication for Cricket and during an interview, she even admitted that she draws inspiration from him.

Geeta Basra will be seen in an upcoming Bollywood Film named, “Second Hand Husband” which is set to be released shortly.

The 31-year old actress even mentioned of the fact that she really admires the down to earth mentality of the Indian off-spinner and it is indeed something to learn from him.

She was of full praises for her boyfriend. And indeed, Cricket is gifted to have such an energetic and loyal and humble person as Harbhajan Singh. Geeta’s words were like: “He is a very strong headed person and that shows on-screen (in matches). He got success at an early age and still he is so grounded and humble. He loves his game. I want to learn that from him.”

There has been a number of gossips of Harbhajan Singh’s marriage set to take place in this year. When Geeta was asked for the same, she replied, “Whenever that (marriage) happens, everyone will come to know. It’s really upsetting as every time there are rumours going around about my marriage. It is not like I am hiding anything. Whenever it happens we will tell (the media).”

When being asked about Harbhajan’s opinions about her acting, Geeta said that they do not discuss much about films and also she is quite not aware of the fact that whether Harbhajan has seen any of her films or not.

Harbhajan is expected to perform big in India’s upcoming series against South Africa and Sri Lanka.
